The Mission of Steeton Bowling Club, Junior Section. Is to empower young bowlers through coaching programs that enhance skill, resilience & sportsmanship. Fostering personal & team excellence on & off the green.

Junior Sessions – 1 Hour (must be accompanied by an adult)
Open to ALL children from 7 years old.

This is all about bringing “Fun and Sport” together. The Bowling Green doesn’t look like your regular bowling green for the junior sessions. It’s colourful and it’s lively. We have the Bowls Buddies, Targets and Obstacles for the younger ones. For the older ones, we have the Bowls, Jacks and Coaching Aids to keep it FUN!

Starting Monday 27th April 2026
Every Monday 6pm until 7pm
Cost: £2 per session
Or, join as a junior member, £20 for the year.

What’s Included in the price:
Crown Green Bowling Coaching (age appropriate) with a qualified coach.
The hire of all equipment needed to play. Just wear flat shoes/trainers
Refreshments

Crown Green Bowls is a superb sport for developing social skills, hand and eye co-ordination, balance, skill and exercise. Steeton Bowling Club is very proud to introduce and develop young players to the sport. Whether you have already played before or just fancy something different and FUN! Come along and join us. It is a fantastic sport for children who struggle to engage with other sports. It also benefits children who have a disability.

There are 4 Qualified Coaches within the club, all DBS checked and another 3 club volunteers also DBS checked.
